Payment Options

Envision Boulder believes in providing the best value for you and your family. We have products and pricing to accommodate all budgets and our office participates in several insurance programs. For patients who have little or no vision insurance coverage, flexible payment programs may be arranged. To learn more about our payment options, please call our office directly.

Our office accepts cash, check, and major debit and credit card, as well as Care Credit.

Routine Vision Insurance

We participate in vision insurance plans that emphasize professional eye care and quality eyewear in a private practice setting.

We are in-network providers for VSP, Superior Vision, Medicare, and Health First Colorado.

Our practice is an open-access provider for other vision plans allowing you to utilize your benefits even if we are out-of-network. We will coordinate your benefit reimbursement. Please contact us to check your eligibility.

Most of us understand that healthy eyes and good vision are critical to our daily lives and that the best way to ensure both is through comprehensive routine eye exams. Unfortunately, some insurance plans either do not include coverage for routine vision or offer it only at certain locations. Our patients have made the choice to be as selective with their vision care as they are with their other health care providers, even if that means seeing us outside of their insurance plan.

Whatever your vision insurance situation, we can help you understand your coverage and maximize your benefits.

Major Medical Insurance

We also see medical eye conditions ranging from glaucoma to eye emergencies. Because these are medical conditions, we will utilize your medical insurance not your vision insurance.

Don’t forget to use your:

  • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
  • Health Savings Accounts (HSA)
  • Medical Savings Accounts (MSA)
  • Cafeteria Plans for most of your eye care needs

All of the above plans can be used for all your eye care and eyewear needs, including eyeglasses, contact lenses, routine office visits, and medical office visits.

Care Credit

The Care Credit card is available to help people pay for health care expenses, often with an introductory period that is interest-free. We accept Care Credit for all of our services. To learn more or apply for the card, visit Care Credit here.
